Requirements:
•
The successful candidate will be technically superior and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•
B.S. in civil engineering or master’s degree in water resources engineering is desirable.
•
Prefer five years of non-academic experience, after graduation, working on water resources engineering projects under the supervision of a professional engineer.
•
Experience completing watershed studies, stormwater analyses and retrofits, drainage design, permitting, as well as other related experience is preferred.
•
Experience with Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, ICPR 3 and 4, HEC-RAS or equivalent software is preferred.
•
Familiarity with ArcHydro, GWIS, SWMM, MIKE SHE, PONDS, HEC-HMS, Modret, HY-8, StormCAD, WaterCAD, CulvertMaster, and FlowMaster is a plus.
•
Engineer or engineer in training (P.E. or E.I.T.) in Florida is desirable.
