Full-time position working in our Orlando, FL office on a wide range of geotechnical engineering activities. Summarize, evaluate, and present field and laboratory data using computer worksheet programs including Microsoft Excel and Sigma Plot. Perform geotechnical analyses using computer software including SEEP/W for seepage analyses, SLOPE/W for slope stability analyses, and GMS-MODFLOW for groundwater flow simulations. Prepare engineering reports. Research and review information and data for engineering projects. Develop and review construction drawings and technical specifications for engineering projects. Coordinate with field personnel to perform subsurface exploration program and field tests. Coordinate with laboratory personnel to perform laboratory testing on soil, geosynthetic, and water samples. Master’s degree specializing in Geotechnical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
At least five to ten years of non-academic experience, after graduation, working on geotechnical engineering projects under the supervision of a professional engineer.
Experience working on landfill, industrial waste disposal, or environmental projects preferred.
