FIELD ENGINEER - INSPECTOR
Experienced or entry level full-time position working out of Ardaman & Associates, Inc. The qualified candidate will be responsible for field inspection of heavy earthwork projects involving earthen dam embankment construction, drain/pipe installation and backfill, soil density testing, geosynthetic liner installation monitoring, concrete sampling and testing, and miscellaneous field and laboratory soil index and classification testing. This position will provide a dynamic, team-oriented work environment and an exceptional opportunity for career growth.
The ability to walk up and down slopes and on uneven terrain; The ability to work outdoors in the heat for up to 8 - 12 hours per day; The ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs; The ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed; The ability to travel and work at remote sites; Excellent driving record within company standards; Must be able to pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing, etc.
A Bachelor’s Degree or attending a university program in Engineering, Building Construction, or Construction Management
The successful candidate will be technically superior and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
