  • Engineering Technician - Experienced Engineering Technician for full time position working out of Ardaman & Associates, Inc. Bartow, Florida office. Responsible for field inspection of heavy earthwork projects involving earthen dam embankment construction, drain/pipe installation and backfill, soil density testing, geosynthetic liner installation, concrete testing, and miscellaneous field and laboratory soil index and classification testing.   • Driller's Assistant - A driller assistant will assist the driller in solid stem and hollow stem auger drilling techniques for geotechnical and environmental investigations. The assistant will help move, set up and operate drilling rigs and related equipment to drill holes for geotechnical exploration test borings. Site investigation/geotechnical drilling is done to determine the soil characteristics on construction sites.  In addition, the assistant will assist the driller during the installation of monitoring wells   Work is outdoors in all weather conditions.
