  • Field Technician - Full time position working out of Ardaman’s Bartow, FL office.  Responsible for field inspection of roadway, residential, commercial, heavy earthwork projects involving earthen dam embankment construction, culvert pipe backfill, soil density, asphalt, and concrete testing, and miscellaneous field and laboratory soil index and classification testing. REQUIREMENTS: At least 18 years old; The ability to walk up and down slopes and on uneven terrain; The ability to work outdoors in the heat for up to 8 - 10 hours per day; The ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs; The ability to perform mathematical calculations; The ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed; The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed; Excellent driving record within company standards; Must be able to pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing, etc; Local candidates only; no relocation.

  • Geologist -To work in our Orlando, FL office on a wide range of geotechnical engineering and environmental engineering projects. Candidate will support senior geotechnical engineers and senior water resource engineers in geology, soils, surface water, and groundwater field and office services for various projects in central Florida and throughout the U.S.  Responsibilities include planning, preparing for, and performing field activities such as collecting soil and groundwater samples, overseeing drilling and well construction, performing geophysical surveys, records retrievals, surface water discharge measurements, storm event water quality sampling, groundwater quality monitoring, and data review and ultimately data analysis.  Candidate must have the ability to be thorough in note taking and preparation of data reports.
