The Baton Rouge office, formerly Soil Testing Engineers, Inc, was acquired by Ardaman and Associates Inc. in January 2007.

Jason Manning, PE, an experienced Ardaman Branch Manager, now leads the talented team in Baton Rouge.  Our local staff is capable of conducting field investigations, laboratory tests, and engineering evaluations which span the entire spectrum of geotechnical engineering.

With the expertise of its multidisciplinary staff, the Baton Rouge office’s capabilities allow it to meet most project needs in house, without using specialty sub-consultants.

The onsite geotechnical laboratory is certified by the LA Department of Environmental Quality, AASHTO, and validated by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Ardaman’s Louisiana Technical Center is housed in the New Orleans office. 

Dr.’s Larry Gilbert, PE and Reda Bakeer, PE bring over 60 years of combined geotechnical engineering experience to support Ardaman’s Louisiana and Gulf Coast operations.
